Sales Development Representative

Additional Resource are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the recruitment industry, with proven success in both cold and warm calling to generate leads and secure client approvals to fill vacancies. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the recruitment process, and the ability to effectively explain the services to potential clients. The SDR will manage the initial stages of the sales cycle, from outreach and qualification to setting appointments with our recruitment consultants.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven telesales experience, specifically in the recruitment industry (B2B).
  • Strong track record in cold and warm calling
  • Fluent in English with a clear accent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with business decision-makers.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems for lead tracking and performance monitoring.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple leads and manage time effectively.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to hit targets and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively reach out to both warm and cold leads from UK businesses with known vacancies, utilizing phone, email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified appointments for recruitment consultants to discuss specific job openings and candidate placements.
  • Follow-Up: Consistently follow up with prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales pipeline.
