You must work swing shifts (2pm-10:30pm) on Wed/Thurs and night shifts (10pm-6:30am) on Fri/Sat/Sun, with off days on Mon/Tue.

You will monitor security systems, respond to calls, document incidents, patrol areas, assist visitors, enforce policies, and ensure safety protocols while maintaining communication and visibility.

 Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Safety &amp; Security, the Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator is responsible for monitoring equipment and devices that include cameras, security access and anti-theft devices, intrusion, radio communication, and fire life safety systems. You will maintain the daily Security Operations log and report deviations from normal operating conditions to a supervisor. You will also dispatch resources to calls for service, emergencies, earthquake recovery, and fire protection measures according to defined AMMP Security Operations Center procedures. SOC Operators may also be scheduled to work Safety &amp; Security Associate posts, which include patrolling the museum on foot and working static posts such as the staff entrance and the museum store.
 
 
 Flex Shift Schedule Includes:

 Duties and Responsibilities: 
 <ul>
 <li>Be assigned to a regular SOC post or special post; assignments may change daily and without notice.</li> 
 <li>Monitor security surveillance cameras, access control, and art protection systems.</li> 
 <li>Answer phones and operate an IP-based telephone system.</li> 
 <li>Operate a radio and use multi-channel communications.</li> 
 <li>Complete call logging, data entry and provide detailed documentation (e.g., Officer Dispatch, Incident Reporting).</li> 
 <li>Provide after-hours operations support.</li> 
 <li>Ensure procedures and protocols are in place to effectively respond to incidents, alarms, notifications, and calls.</li> 
 <li>Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security field force via telephone, automated alarm monitoring, and radio systems.</li> 
 <li>Ensure all systems within the SOC are functioning properly.</li> 
 <li>Evaluate information and respond with the appropriate communication and dispatch procedures.</li> 
 <li>Maintain discretion when sensitive and confidential information is revealed.</li> 
 <li>Retain and retrieve information in the form of policies, bulletins, verbal reports, and training.</li> 
 <li>Remain calm in emergency situations.</li> 
 <li>Participate in daily roll call and training.</li> 
 <li>When assigned a non-SOC post, the operator will: 
 <ul>
 <li>Maintain high visibility while on assignment.</li> 
 <li>Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards guests.</li> 
 <li>Patrol assigned areas on foot, conduct security tours assisted by electronic device as assigned to ensure personnel, visitors, building, and exhibitions security.</li> 
 <li>Greet visitors, provide information, direction, and other assistance to ensure a positive visitor experience.</li> 
 <li>Assist visitors and staff in the safe evacuation from the building. May respond to incidents and emergency calls according to Academy Museum policy.</li> 
 <li>Enforce Academy Museum security policies and procedures using good judgment and excellent public relations skills. Refer unresolved concerns or issues to shift supervisor.</li> 
 <li>Ensure all scheduled business appointments are verified and properly directed to staff or museum department upon arrival.</li> 
 <li>Monitor activity and immediately report any discrepancies observed (e.g., suspicious activity, security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations).</li>

Security Operations Center, Operator (Flex Shift)

You must ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, carry out cash counting, follow safety guidelines, and maintain a tidy cash office.

You will manage cash operations, process deposits, conduct audits, ensure safety, assist with training, and contribute to new systems while liaising with security and performing assigned duties.

 Reporting to the Senior Accounts Manager you will ensure compliance with procedures set down in the Cash Handling Manual, carry out cash counting/processing procedures, follow safety &amp; security guidelines and assure good cash office housekeeping.
 
 
 Duties and Responsibilities: 
 <ul>
 <li>Work with the Vice President of Accounting and Finance, Senior Accounts Manager, and the Operations Team to ensure the smooth running of the Cash Office Operation.</li> 
 <li>Observe and operate within the requirements of the Cash Handling Manual and cash handling policy.</li> 
 <li>Ensure that safety and security are our top priorities.</li> 
 <li>Process daily cash deposits, process daily banking and assist with banking reconciliations.</li> 
 <li>Conduct daily safe balances.</li> 
 <li>Assist with training when necessary.</li> 
 <li>Contribute towards new processes and systems.</li> 
 <li>Enter cash declarations/entries reports.</li> 
 <li>Conduct random operator audits.</li> 
 <li>Review Cash/Revenue Reports in line with KPI Indictors.</li> 
 <li>Carry out fraud prevention checks.</li> 
 <li>Conduct any end of week processes.</li> 
 <li>Liaise with the Security Team when necessary.</li>
