  <li>Conduct internal legal analysis of plan documents in support of Ameren's various pension and welfare plans ensuring compliance with ERISA and all applicable regulations</li>

  <li>Assist with employee benefits related vendors, including review of contracts and communications</li>

  <li>Maintain plan documents and amendments for the Legal and Human Resources departments and third-party administrators</li>
  <li>Assist with preparation of Forms 5500, including ensuring timely filing and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors</li>
  <li>Prepare IRS and DOL filings</li>
  <li>Draft plan committee agenda, minutes, resolutions, charters, policies, claims and appeals, and other decisions and documents</li>
  <li>Draft and manage plan committee delegations and training materials</li>
  <li>Review work and recommendations of vendors to ensure complete and accurate information</li>
  <li>Communicate with actuaries, attorneys, accountants, and Human Resources team</li>
  <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational and communication skills required</li>
