Mission
Informing debates. Shaping policy. Producing results. The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities is dedicated to pursuing federal and state policies designed to reduce poverty and inequality and restore fiscal responsibility in equitable and effective ways. For nearly four decades, the Center has applied their deep expertise in budget and tax issues and in programs and policies that help low-income people, in order to help inform debates and achieve better policy outcomes.
