Position: Produce Clerk
Full-time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provide exceptional customer service
</li><li>Guide customers to specific items
</li><li>Assist in receiving and inspecting fresh produce
</li><li>Stock, face, cull and rotate inventory following the First In, First Out (FIFO) process
</li><li>Wash, cut, and package product for fresh cut program
</li><li>Water plants and change water in flowers as required
</li><li>Ensure consistent supply and display of fresh produce
</li><li>Operate equipment safely
</li><li>Maintain temperature logs and ensure all food and equipment temperatures comply with food safety guidelines
</li><li>Verify package dates and remove expired products
</li><li>Stay informed about Canadian Food Inspection Agency recalls and CAC&rsquo;s required response, providing customers with current information
</li><li>Practice safe food handling procedures and wear appropriate attire
</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
</li></ul>Qualifications:
