Serving as a collaborative HR Partner to our Transportation Business Unit, you will coordinate alignment of business objectives with employees, other HRBP&rsquo;s, and management in the designated business unit.</p></li><li><p>
Consults with management on human resource-related issues, suggests new HR strategies, and provides HR policy guidance and interpretation when appropriate.</p></li><li><p>
Evaluates and anticipates HR-related needs and communicates needs with the HR Department and business management.</p></li><li><p>
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.</p></li><li><p>
Works as a key contributor to the firm-wide HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.</p></li><li><p>
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, addresses grievances, and conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.</p></li><li><p>
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees in order to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance; partners with internal legal counsel when necessary.</p></li><li><p>
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.</p></li><li><p>
Provides support for orienting new hires, and internal promotions and transfers.</p></li><li><p>
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, and monitors and reports on workforce planning and succession planning.</p></li><li><p>
Identifies training needs for business units and individuals, participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success and follows up to ensure training objectives are met.</p></li><li><p>

Basic Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>
