EMAS Practice Placement Lead We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician and aspiring Practice Placement Lead. This particular opportunity is open to candidates who want to commit to engaging with formal development and who do not require any formal teaching qualifications. The role of Practice Placement Lead is an important role within EMAS Education and contributes to the delivery of taught programmes such as Practice Educator courses, as well as supporting the placement in practice of both university students and EMAS staff on an internal pathway. To take responsibility for the co-ordination and monitoring of practice learning opportunities (placements) for students from a variety of educational settings within the Trust To ensure the suitability and preparedness of placement areas in collaboration with the wider EMAS education team and external education providers To develop, prepare and update EMAS Practice Educators to support learners/students whilst undertaking practice learning, by delivering the practice educator course and EMAS Student Inductions. To contribute to educational delivery in EMAS, with a focus on practice-based learning and clinical skills To work with the placement team and wider clinical education team to ensure all placement data is captured and reported upon for compliance, associated funding and placement quality About You You will need to embrace the EMAS Trust values and be committed to developing and delivering a high quality service which is student focused. You will be an experienced Ambulance Technician or Clinician (Registered Paramedic [HCPC] or Nurse [NMC]) and hold at least a Dip HE/FdSc in a directly related subject.
