Mission

Founded in 1846, we’re the second-biggest publishing group in the UK - part of Hachette Livre - with 12 divisions and over 50 imprints. Our award-winning publishing divisions include Orion; Little, Brown; John Murray Press; Hodder & Stoughton; Hachette Children’s Group; Headline; Quercus; Bookouture; Dialogue; Octopus; Hodder Education; and Paperblanks – and together, our mission is to make it easy for everyone to discover new worlds of ideas, learning, entertainment and opportunity.
