The Houston Astros are a professional baseball team located in Houston, Texas. The team is a member of the Western Division of Major League Baseball's American League. From their start as the Colt .45s to their Astrodome days to their life in Minute Maid Park, the Astros have enjoyed quite a half-century. In 2012, they honored their first 50 years.
