Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. The Quality Improvement Manager will focus on optimizing the delivery of care, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing overall service quality across the organization.

The pay range for this position is $75,505.20 to $90,724.00 per year.

Essential Functions:


 * Develop, implement, and manage quality improvement programs to enhance the overall quality of patient care, treatment outcomes, and operational processes.
 * Work collaboratively with Managing Director, Behavioral Health Performance in developing and managing value-based contracting and initiatives to optimize reimbursement models and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
 * Lead and coordinate quality improvement projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
 * Design and oversee data collection methods and analysis to assess performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
 * Establish and monitor quality benchmarks and performance indicators, developing reports and presenting findings to senior management.
 * Facilitate continuous quality improvement by implementing evidence-based practices and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
 * Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives and identify areas for further enhancement.
 * Collaborate in the development of and participate in facilitation of training programs to staff to ensure an understanding of quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
 * Serve as the point of contact for quality-related inquiries and work closely with Compliance Manager related to regulatory bodies and accreditation agencies.
 * Stay abreast of developments in quality improvement, participating in professional development activities and continuing education.
   
   

Minimum Requirements:


 * Bachelor's degree in a related field such as healthcare administration, public health, nursing, psychology, or social work; master’s degree preferred.
 * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality improvement, performance management, or related healthcare administration roles, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
 * Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards (e.g., CARF, Joint Commission), and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
 * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data to drive decision-making and process improvement.
 * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and facilitate meetings and workgroups.
 * Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and engage staff in quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of excellence.
 * Knowledge of behavioral health treatment modalities, clinical documentation standards, and best practices in behavioral health care delivery.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health record systems.
 * Certification in quality improvement (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality - CPHQ) preferred.

You need a high school diploma, be enrolled in a related program, have strong interpersonal skills, empathetic approach, knowledge of ethics and boundaries, ability to maintain confidentiality, and willingness to learn and adapt.
