Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a vital member of our First-Party Property team, you will:

 

 *  Collaborate with attorneys to prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
 * Master the art of scheduling, organizing meetings, appointments, and court appearances with precision.
 * Handle e-filing responsibilities with efficiency, ensuring timely submissions.
 * Manage client communications, providing exceptional service with poise and professionalism.
 * Maintain and organize client files and records, upholding our standard of excellence.
 * Coordinate seamlessly with third-party service providers to enhance our legal operations.
 * Approach challenges with a positive attitude, embracing problem-solving opportunities.
 * Become a subject matter expert on client preferences, contributing to our team's success.

 

Qualifications:


- A minimum of 3 years of experience in First-Party Property litigation or a similar role, showcasing your ability to thrive in a litigation environment.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is essential for success in this role.

- Knowledge of Aderant Total Office (ATO) is a significant plus, enhancing your candidacy.

 1.  Maintain attorney’s calendars.
 2.  Scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, and inspections.
 3.  Coordinating with judges, opposing counsel, clients, mediators, vendors, and other legal positions in case.
 4.  E-Filing via E-Portal, E-Courtesy, and E-Service to opposing counsel.
 5.  Managing Case Glide, Acuity, and Atlas portals to update clients.
 6.  Handling incoming invoices
 7.  Bills clients/ ensures billing requirements are met.
 8.  Drafting correspondences to adjusters, clients, mediators, opposing counsels and judges
 9.  Drafting motions and notices/ ensuring subpoenas are served, redacting and putting together documents for discovery purposes.
 10. Ensuring deadlines are met.
 11. Calendaring deadlines, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
 12. Opening and closing of a file.
 13. Other administrative tasks as requested by the unit’s paralegals and attorneys.

 

 

 1.  2+ years of related experience in First Party Property litigation and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 2.  MS Office Suite Knowledge a must.
 3.  Must be comfortable in a fast paced work environment with changing priorities.
 4.  Outstanding skills in proofreading and editing required .
 5.  Aderant Total Office (ATO) knowledge a plus.
 6.  Must have a superior attention to detail and organizational aptitude.
 7.  Strong communicator comfortable interacting with leadership and clients is ideal.
 8.  Can take initiative without much prompting.
 9.  Experience with efiling a must. 
 10. Strong multitasking capabilities preferred.
 11. Must be able to work in a technology focused environment .
