Ideal candidate will have 0-4 years' PQE with strong employment law knowledge, analytical skills, and clear communication. Must excel in client service, business development, and be proficient in IT tools including Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems.

The Associate in the Manchester or Leeds office at Lewis Silkin will be responsible for handling a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, assisting senior lawyers with cases, running their own matters under supervision, and maintaining direct contact with clients to develop their skills and knowledge within the field.

The candidate must have up to 2 years PQE, comprehensive commercial law knowledge, strong analytical ability, clear communication skills, a commercial approach to client service, enjoy business development, be a team player, and be a qualified lawyer with a current UK or Irish practicing certificate.

The candidate will liaise with business clients, listen to their needs, and create or adapt commercial documents to capture requirements. They will stay informed about tech trends and be interested in specializing in data protection, intellectual property, or IT law. They will contribute to a leading Irish tech law team, advising clients globally.
