  • Salary increase

    This Scheme recognises individuals when their effort and impact on the University exceeds what is expected, on a sustained basis. Recognition is awarded in the form of salary increases that are paid to an individual in addition to annual cost of living and incremental pay increases.

  • Lump sum payment

    Employees can also be rewarded with a one-off cash payment. These payments are designed to recognise an individual’s outstanding contribution or performance, completed through short-term additional work or a one-off project.

  • Performance and development review scheme

    We recognise that an essential part of enabling employees to achieve their full potential is monitoring their performance against agreed objectives that support and aid their development. For this reason, we have a Performance and Development Review (PDR) process in place to support your progression. The review process provides a formal, annual review for all employees, and will set you mutually agreed, achievable objectives that guide and balance your contribution. It will help to identify your development needs, and where appropriate will determine the resources you require to achieve your objectives.
