The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, known as NYSERDA, promotes energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. These efforts are key to developing a less polluting and more reliable and affordable energy system for all New Yorkers. INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW</b></h2><p>
This is a paid internship for current students at an accredited college. The pay rate is from $18 to $20 per hour based on current class year. <b>This internship will begin on June 2, 2025 with the possibility of continuing beyond summer.</b></p><p>
Interns must be located in New York State or an immediately adjacent state while working. It is expected that interns will follow our telework policy, with a combination of in-office and remote work. Interns work up to 18.5 hours per week during the semester, and up to 37.5 hours per week between semesters, when not attending classes.</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h2><p>
The intern will work alongside with Business Analysts and Information Technology staff to support the adoption of multiple technology platforms across the authority, including but not limited to Asana, JotForm, SharePoint, Salesforce, and Jira. Specific activities may include:</p><ul><li>
Participate in discovery and requirement gathering sessions.</li><li>
Document new or existing processes and procedures.</li><li>
Create User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans and scripts to facilitate software testing.</li><li>
Conduct testing on new software applications.</li><li>
Prepare supporting documents to communicate technical information to non-technical business users.</li><li>
Create and/or update current training guides and materials on our Confluence training platform.</li><li>
Track, follow-up, and complete action items outlined in the tactical meetings (where open / pending system work is discussed and prioritized).</li><li>
Support process improvement projects by assisting with project documentation, data collection, data analysis, and other administrative work as assigned.</li><li>
Complete ad-hoc analyses and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.</li><li>
Perform all job responsibilities with respect, fairness, consistency, and inclusion.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
