About The Role Rapid Response Monitoring is looking for Armed Corporate Security Officers (Full-Time) to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Salary Range $22.00 per hour - $27.00 per hour (Based upon experience) Shift Hours Various hours: Primarily evening start times. Responsibilities * Ensure the facility is provided with high-quality services to protect people and property * Maintain a security presence by patrolling both inside and outside of the facility * Monitoring security cameras * Detect and report safety concerns and potential risks * Responds within minutes to reports of suspicious activity. * Responds promptly to emergency calls for assistance. * Escorting certain personnel to and from events Required State Training And Qualifications * Must possess a current NYS Guard License * 8 Hour Pre-assignment Training * 16 Hours on The Job Training * 8 Hour Annual in Service Training * 8 Hour Annual Firearms Training Basic Qualifications * High School Degree * Must possess a New York Security Guard License * Must be licensed and registered with the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) * Able to proactively identify problems, creatively develop and execute solutions * Excellent interpersonal skills; able to relate to and interact with others in a friendly, professional * manner * Excellent verbal communication skills * Many of our positions require an extra level of screening to obtain Department of Defense security clearance * Rapid Response prides itself on being a drug-free workplace Physical Requirements * Moderate lifting 15-30 pounds regularly. * Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects.
