A unique opportunity for a MW presentation specialist/designer and PowerPoint visual storyteller to join our busy in-house design team. Background * This is an exciting time to join the firm, and the design team. This is a role created to support the development and growth trajectory of the firm and play an integral role in the wider Integrated Marketing Communications team. * The design team has been part of an exciting strategy to deliver the vision of the firm and bring sophistication and quality to all our creative thinking, design development and project activation. Positioning the firm as a leader in every aspect of audit, tax and consulting business services. * To enable this we need support to deliver on the growing number of high-profile presentation requests, joining the current team of 11. * Working alongside our current presentation designer and senior design executive and our wider team of graphic designers, this role is highly varied, working on various digital presentation projects from across the business, as well as our global team. * As the successful candidate you will be able to keep a cool head as you embed your creativity on projects within the framework of the global visual brand refresh. * You will have the opportunity to develop your skillset, managing a wide portfolio of projects as well as your communication skills when proactively managing multiple stakeholders. * You will be supporting RSM’s global vision to be the adviser of choice to middle market business leaders. Internally, collaboration with peers and stakeholders will be key to delivering excellence, with a single clarifying thought which guides all our decisions, behaviours, values and actions, ‘the power of being understood’. * This is a role where you need to be highly motivated, inquisitive, adaptable and an excellent communicator, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and bring the outside in. You will also have a strong desire to understand the bigger picture, with the ability and confidence to ask the questions in order to tell our brand story through your work. * You are able to visually tell the RSM story through the presentation lens, while being respectful of the RSM brand. Responsibilities * Collaborate on multiple projects of varying complexities, identifying and developing best practice for effective communication of messages through PowerPoint; * Working alongside multi-disciplinary teams to understand and ensure solutions meet with our strategic marketing and design objectives; * Work within the global brand guidelines to create visual elements, illustrations, charts and infographics which effectively communicate our key messages; * Design and manage visually compelling templates and assets for CREATE, our Microsoft add-on. This includes ensuring all templates are innovative, aesthetically pleasing, and adhere to brand guidelines, enhancing the visual quality of internal and external communications; * Support the wider business in generating high-quality, brand-consistent materials. By leveraging the CREATE add-on in PowerPoint, you will help teams across the business produce polished and professional documents that align with our brand standards. What We Are Looking For * You are self-motivated, goal oriented, have strong creative judgement and a great communicator. * Have a keen eye for detail. * As a great communicator you can articulate and effectively present your ideas to all levels in the business; * An ability to organise work within an existing design and job booking process, balancing multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines. * Can work to tight deadlines and manage key stakeholders accordingly. * Collaborative and creative. * You’re pioneering, curious and not afraid to take risks to keep on top of industry trends – we want to be ahead of our competition. What Experience You Need * At least 3-4 years’ industry experience, with a focus on presentation design. * A good understanding of what makes communications effective. * Previous experience working with visual identities. * A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of visual and PowerPoint skills and awareness of industry trends. * Proven experience creating high-quality visual designs, interpreting briefs and thinking conceptually. * A good understanding of all key delivered channels across digital channels. * Professional knowledge and full understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint. * An understanding of other digital presentation platforms/apps is a bonus, but not essential. * Professional knowledge and understanding of Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. * Manage time effectively, to multi-task and meet deadlines. * You are a great communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders and bring their vision to life by storytelling through expert PowerPoint layouts with an appropriate use of animation. * You have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
