Bike Mechanic - Swapfiets

Bike Mechanic

You must have an EU driver's license (6+ months), bike affinity, fluent English and local language skills, decision-making experience, and flexible availability on weekdays and occasional Saturdays.

You will provide exceptional service to members, help with subscriptions, maintain store organization, perform bike repairs, and drive to assist members citywide.

 What will you be doing? 
 <ul>
 <li>Work in the store and deliver outstanding Swapfiets service to members;</li>
 </ul> 
 <ul>
 <li>You’re the first point of contact for (potential) members, helping them set up a new subscription or providing support with any issues they might have;</li>
 </ul> 
 <ul>
 <li>You keep the shop clean, tidy and organized;</li>
 </ul> 
 <ul>
 <li>You will drive around the city by car to help our members;</li>
 </ul> 
 <ul>
 <li>Perform small bike repairs and preventive maintenance on our Swapfiets bikes on site and in the store, so our members can happily keep biking;</li>
 </ul> 
 <ul>
 <li>Swap out bikes, if they can’t be repaired on the spot, and drive them to our Store/Warehouse;</li>
 </ul>
 
 Who are we looking for? 
 <ul>
 <li>In possession of a driver's license that is valid in the EU (for a minimum of 6 months);</li>
 </ul> 
 <ul>
 <li>Affinity with bikes and service;</li>
 </ul> 
 <ul>
 <li>Fluent in English and the local language;</li>
 </ul> 
 <ul>
 <li>Experience in working alone &amp; being able to make decisions;</li>
 </ul> 
 <ul>
 <li>Flexible availability from Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday shift;</li>
 </ul>
