 The Coordinator, Constituent Services is one of two professional, friendly, and upbeat points of contact for National Park Foundation constituents and donors. An essential customer service role that is part of a 6-person team, the Coordinator sits within the larger Strategic Operations department that supports a comprehensive and increasingly robust fundraising program. A part of the Philanthropy division, the Coordinator helps donors make gifts over the phone, updates communication preferences and contact information, provides answers to questions, resolves concerns, and connects to resources as appropriate. As one of the first points of contact with the organization through phone or email, the Coordinator creates a positive experience for constituents and manages requests as efficiently as possible.
 The Coordinator’s typical day will include a mix of answering live calls, returning phone calls or emails, connecting with colleagues to secure answers as needed, and fulfilling constituent requests. This position requires a drive to create exceptional experiences with constituents, effective listening skills, patience, the ability to work as part of a team, and strong time management skills. New inquiries are received daily throughout the year, but the Coordinator can expect a few surges in workload—particularly around a few key outbound communications in November and December, and early spring, in addition to the lead-up to Tax Day.
 This full-time position is based in Washington, DC, and reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Operations.
 Essential Functions/Duties/Tasks:

 <li> Act as the first point of contact to manage donor inquiries (through email, phone, mail); carefully interpret the spirit of constituent questions or comments and directly answer/resolve each in clear spoken or written communication. Where necessary, source to appropriate staff for specific follow-up.</li>
 <li> Use NPF’s relational database of record, Raiser’s Edge NXT, to research, document interactions, and update constituent records; contribute to improving database integrity by following guidelines for record management; report merge requests and other data hygiene needs to immediate team members.</li>
 <li> Respond to sustaining donor questions and concerns and manage downgrades and cancellations.</li>
 <li> Identify areas for increased efficiencies or improvements in responding and managing to constituent inquiries.</li>
 <li> Work with colleagues across the organization to secure answers or responses as needed; update document of templated responses as appropriate.</li>
 <li> Perform related duties as assigned, within the scope of practice.</li>

 Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
