We were formed based on the premise that only seasoned accounting and tax professionals could properly bring the experience and knowledge that companies and organizations need to complete projects in a timely, efficient manner. Therefore, each project is led by a CPA with a minimum of five years'​ experience, which enables us to leverage our skills, knowledge, and experience to satisfy the accounting and tax needs of our clients.

You should be a sophomore or above pursuing an Accounting degree, with a preferred GPA of 3.0+, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. This position is not remote.

You will prepare tax returns, assist with accounting tasks and data entry, support tax planning and compliance, conduct research, and handle various administrative duties.

 Interns work with medium and small companies in various industries. They develop strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their businesses and challenges. Interns work on multiple engagements each year, including several pieces of any particular assignment – not just one part.  Examples of the candidate’s responsibilities include but not limited to:

Tax & Accounting Intern - Honolulu

You must be a Junior-level Accounting student with a minimum 3.0 GPA, proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word, and enrolled in a B.A./B.S. program at an accredited university.

You will assist audit teams, assess risks, evaluate internal controls, perform substantive tests, and address accounting issues for clients at Verity CPAs.
