This role is pivotal in overseeing and optimizing our clinical operations and trial processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing key responsibilities and driving strategic initiatives to ensure the success of Vial Therapeutics' programs.Key Responsibilities * Own Key Responsibilities (KRs): Lead and manage a set of key responsibilities around Vial Therapeutics' programs. * Weekly ClinOps WBR: Set up and report out at the weekly Clinical Operations Weekly Business Review. * Budget Management: Ensure programs meet or exceed budgetary expectations. * Timeline Management: Ensure programs meet or exceed project timelines. * Organizational Planning: Develop and implement an organizational plan and operations model. * Role Definition: Establish roles and responsibilities within the organization, complete with metrics for performance evaluation as it pertains to Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Clinical Trial Leaders (CTLs), etc. * Remote Monitoring Setup: Develop and implement people and process strategies for remote Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Clinical Trial Leaders (CTLs), etc. * Trial Operations Setup: Develop and implement people and process strategies for trial operations, including Trial Design, Data Management (DM), Biostatistics (Biostats), etc.      What You'll Bring * Experience: Proven experience in operations, ideally from an operations-heavy startup environment such as DoorDash, Instacart, etc., at the Senior Associate or Manager level. * Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and optimize clinical operations. * Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and operational models. * Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement. * Budget Management: Proficiency in managing budgets and timelines to meet or exceed expectations. * Adaptability: Ability to manage and adapt to tactical changes within the organization.
