   Position Summary:
   We are seeking an experienced, customer focused Quality Engineer to work on-site with our Manufacturing and Engineering teams at Viavi Solutions in Santa Rosa, CA.
 
 
 
   Primary responsibilities for the position include:
 
 
   Understanding and translating customer specifications and requirements into internal documents, test plans, and work instructions.
   Collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and management teams to ensure cost-effective, on-time delivery of compliant products.
   Assuring that in-process and final product data meets all customer and internal requirements; expected active participation in customer meetings and communications.
   Maintaining ongoing quality documentation specific to several manufacturing and product lines.
