Founded in 1977, Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is a nonprofit, nationally accredited human services agency dedicated to building strength, hope and resiliency through its family-based outreach services, residential treatment programs, and community-based counseling services to thousands of children, youth and families throughout Central, Eastern and Northeastern Massachusetts.

Clinical Intern - Wayside Youth & Family Support Network

Clinical Intern

You should have clinical and family work experience, flexibility, be a final year grad student, or a strong first year student with relevant experience.

You will provide assessments, therapeutic interventions, case management, advocacy, and concrete services to clients. Participate in agency-wide initiatives and work autonomously in the community.

<ul><li>Wayside’s&nbsp;Waltham&nbsp;Community Based Services Site is accepting&nbsp;Graduate Level&nbsp;interns. We provide a range of in-home, community-based services designed to protect, preserve, and reunify families within a wide geographical area. Community-based clinicians provide individual, couples and family therapy. Treatment is generally intensive in nature and delivered using a strengths-based, resiliency-focused philosophy. Clinicians work with clients referred from the Department of Children and Families, the Department of Mental Health and a variety of insurance companies to address such issues as mental health symptom management, family systems dynamics, behavior management, substance abuse, budgeting, household management, parent education and more.</li></ul>
