Art of Gesture Competition

Being on stage for a silent play, miming situations or emotions on the street, the art of gesture is a special discipline. Indeed, without words, artists must convey emotions through their bodies which become their only mean of expression. What’s more universal than gestures? A source of magic and mystery, while at the same time carrying a message, gestures are capable of transmitting the strongest emotions and harmonies. They correspond perfectly with the objectives of our charter. So whether you’re an amateur or a professional, come express yourself at the Olymp'Arts !

Rules:

● Please add English subtitles to all languages in the work, including dialogue, monologue, titles and other language of information. The translation should be precise and comprehensive. If not, the work will be disqualified.

● No signature or creator information should be included in the work.

● The work should contain no more than 7 actors/actresses.

● The work can be interpreted in front of a bare setting or a stage background of your choice

Note for work submission:

● Please send the full performance video.

● Format type : MOV, AVI or MPEG4.

● Maximum length of the work : 15 minutes.

● You can either upload in the official website or send it via Google Drive/Baidu Drive.

● If you upload it in the official website, the size of the file must not exceed 1GB. Please use H.264 general compression code.

● Please also submit 3 images of your work (format type: JPG, maximum size: 5MB, resolution: 300dpi) for promotion.

● Please submit other supplementary files.
