CADathon is back for the second year running! And this year, we're co-hosting it with the Glasgow IMechE Young Members Panel! Get ready for the competitive, challenging and fast paced-event of the year. All universities, courses and year groups are welcome to attend. Teams will be competing in groups of three. Engineers Without Borders UK is a registered charity and NGO that leads a movement for change to embed global responsibility into the heart of engineering. In the face of the ever-increasing task that is the battle against climate change, EWB, and the people behind it, have never been needed more. Engineers Without Borders is an international organisation, a collaboration of thousands of engineers around the world working towards a better future. Inspire, Upskill, Drive change Do you want to build a sustainable world? Do you want to work with like-minded people, to help find the solutions to save our climate? Do you want the chance to hear from real engineers, solving issues in the UK right now? Sounds like you should join Engineers Without Borders Heriot-Watt UK. What we do Last year, we built a Bio-Digestor, co-hosted designathons and organised socials. We even collaborated with the HWU Principal, leading professors around the world and the Zambian government (including the president himself!!) towards a creating our own innovative product! This year we aim to continue on the same path. - Further hands-on Bio-Digestor upgrades - Industry lead speaker panels - Industry site visits - Fun and collaborative socials - Compete (and win!) in globally ranked engineering competitions - Further develop our Zambia project product into a hands-on concept!
