Hello and welcome to the Holdsworth Club's official Huzzle page. The Holdsworth Club is the Official Law Society at the University of Birmingham. 

The main objective of this page is to connect our members with our domestic and global alumni in a professional, strong and supportive manner. We hope that through these connections members will be able to establish and develop connections with individuals who can help aid them with their career aspirations and goals in a constructive and facilitative manner.

The Holdsworth Club, founded in 1927 at the University of Birmingham, is one of the largest and oldest law societies in the United Kingdom. Over the years we have been recognised as one of the most prestigious, inclusive and successful societies nationally. With strong society aims, a focused attitude and support we offer our members the ultimate society experience.

The Holdsworth Club 

The Holdsworth Club, is one of the largest and oldest law societies in the United Kingdom. 

The European Law Students'​ Association (ELSA) is the largest independent law students'​ association in the world. It is a non-political and non-profit-making organisation run by and for students. ELSA is comprised of students and young professionals who are interested in achieving academic and personal excellence beyond their university studies.

At ELSA Birmingham, we provide students opportunities to learn about different cultures and legal systems in a spirit of critical dialogue and scientific co-operation. 

Moreover, we aim to increase the global perspective of law students and equip them with useful tools for their career. 

Finally, we encourage law students to participate in various seminars, conferences and academic activities. Helping them apply their legal knowledge in practice.

The ELSA Birmingham​ Local Group was founded in September 2018 and is affiliated with the University of Birmingham Guild of Students. We gained the status of an observer group at the NCM Bristol in November 2018. ELSA Birmingham will host the Autumn NCM in 2023.
