Welcome to the IBFE Society!

Our society started in 2016 as an academic society for our degree course, International Business, Economics & Finance, and now we are open to anyone and everyone from the University of Manchester!

We love creating events for all students to socialise and interact with each other while having fun. From eating and drinking to making useful workshops for your future career paths - we want to create a community of support for everyone!

Joining our society gives you access to the University of Manchester's first-ever internship application tracker for finance students, where you can keep up to date with all the major companies offering internships! The University of Manchester Women in Business Society is a student-led society with the goal to empower and inspire women within all fields of business.

Inclusivity and empowerment are at the core of our values. That is why we drive forward a supportive network which leverages and enhances talent to excel on both professional and personal levels in the industry.

Through partnerships with both start-ups and corporate giants, the society organises careers and social networking events for its members and hosts inspiring talks from expert speakers trailblazing a path for women in the business industry.
