❗️Last Barrister Workshop of 2023❗️ Family & Public law Workshop at St Johns Buildings Chambers is the perfect time to build those connections for your future path! Sign up on here and register your interest! Join us on the 30th November at 5pm at the Chambers. This event is open to all students and is a great platform to listen and ask questions to Barristers, especially if you are interested in family/public law! Bring all your questions, its your time to snoop around and get ahead! As always we will be available to walk down from Hicks at 4:30pm or you can meet us at the Chambers! The dress is casual smart.

The Edward Bramley Law Society is the largest and one of the most prestigious societies on campus at The University of Sheffield, with almost 1,000 law and non-law members. The society was founded within the 1950's and has thrived ever since. To our members we offer a vast array of opportunities which are centered around both career and academic advancement, as well as hosting a variety of socials to ensure you make the make of your time at university! We believe, with an increasingly competitive graduate job market, we need to keep up to date with what potential employers will be looking for within students. It is for this reason that we host career and academic events, legal workshops and competitions, careers dinners and much, much more, with the intention of building upon these skills to ensure post-graduate success. We also host sell-out social events, field three winning sports teams, hold various charity events. The support we receive from our sponsors and alumni allows us to achieve this goal, year on year, ensuring that students leave Sheffield confident in their own abilities when pursuing their dream career.
