The LSESU Fintech Society is thrilled to welcome LSE alumnus Joel Perlman, Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director of OakNorth, for our very first fireside chat of the year on October 1st from 5-6 PM at the Thai Theatre (CKK). Joel, who co-founded OakNorth in 2015, has grown it into one of the UK’s leading fintech companies with a valuation of £2.7 billion. Join us to hear his journey from LSE to building a multi-billion-pound fintech success, and gain insights into entrepreneurship and the fintech industry. Attendance is open to all LSE students. The LSESU Fintech Society is one of the most active on campus. Since 2017, we have run exceptional panel discussions, workshops, competitions and networking events. If you are interested in finance, technology, entrepreneurship or the crossroads between them - then join us to become a part of our vibrant society. Our aim is to educate and empower students to delve into the Fintech world. We have a large, diverse membership pool and we would love for you to be a part of our community.
