🎉LAW BALL 2024🎉 We are excited to announce our most anticipated event of the year; the Annual Law Ball! Join us for a glamorous evening filled with celebration, laughter and unforgettable memories as we bring the magic of a Masquerade to life – a theme chosen by YOU, our members! Tickets Tickets will be released next week, register here to be the first to know! Price Members: £40 Non-Members: £50 Menu Arrival Drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available) Mains Chicken supreme with asparagus, garden peas, fondant potato, green peppercorn sauce & wild mushrooms Pork loin steak with pulled pork and cheddar croquette, roast maple carrots & calvados jus Wild mushroom stroganoff with tender-stem broccoli & braised rice (Vegan) Desserts New York cheesecake with popcorn & salted caramel sauce Sticky toffee pudding with bourbon sauce and chantilly cream (contains alcohol) Chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream & hedgerow fruits (Vegan) Allergies and Dietary Requirements Please let us know any allergies or dietary requirements when purchasing your tickets on the Union website. Welcome to the Manchester Law School Law Society! As previous winners of the Best Academic Society 4 years in a row and one the largest societies at MMU, we offer a variety of events throughout the year to students who are interested in the legal profession. Our goal is to create a network of MMU’s next generation of aspiring lawyers. Furthermore, we aim for our events to be beneficial to student employability and informative on the path to a successful legal career! It’s not all career driven, however! We also organise fun and engaging socials to help students meet with like-minded individuals and establish a community with examples of fancy dress parties, Junkyard Golfing, Pub crawls and other fun outings! We aim to offer everyone the best student experience at MMU so everyone is welcome from all walks of life! It goes without saying that being a member of the Law Society alone is a fantastic addition to your professional profile, yet, we aim for our members to have opportunities they can be proud to put on their CV! Our current membership fee is £10 for the year which entitles members to discounts and more!
