About
The Strathclyde Trading Society (STS) is a student-led initiative that aims to prepare members for careers in the financial services industry.
The club was formed by undergraduate students who sought to extend Strathclyde's excellence in Finance to the rest of the university. STS represents an opportunity for students who are interested in financial markets and want to bring the real experience of investing in the university.
The group manages a portfolio of assets, applying a collaborative approach to taking positions and employing various risk models alongside macroeconomic analysis. Students will benefit from first-hand contact with industry professionals with experience in banks and asset management firms. We will also provide support during the application process, increasing the opportunities of our members to land a job in the investment banking, consulting or accounting fields.
