Our exciting collaboration with Redwood and KCL Tech provides a unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts, gain valuable insights, and turn your ideas into reality. Whether you're here to innovate, collaborate, or inspire, this is your chance to be part of something truly transformative! This is a 24-hour Hackathon on February 6th and 7th. On day one, you will arrive, receive instructions and briefs, and be grouped. You will then be sent off for 24 hours to work on your pitch. On day two, you will return to pitch your ideas, followed by prize giving and networking. MEET OUR JUDGES !! Industry leaders in sustainability, AI, and technology, bringing expertise from top organizations to inspire and guide your innovations! 🚀 Saima Rasool - Saima is a strategy and sustainability specialist with expertise in policymaking, energy regulation, and ESG consulting. The youngest Board Trustee in Green Alliance’s 45-year history and a COP28 UK youth delegate, TED Countdown speaker, and Co-Chair of the Anthropy Emerging Leaders’ Alliance. Named among Europe’s Top 50 Most Influential Muslims (2023) by EqualityX and invited to meet HM Queen Camilla for contributions to sustainability. A KPMG-published thought leader and Oxford Young Muslim Leadership Programme alumnus (2024). Akash Deb - Akash is the Co-founder of Starmoon AI (www.starmoon.app), where he is reimagining pediatric hospital care by replacing passive screen time with interactive AI-powered toys that provide personalized engagement under medical supervision, helping ease children's stress and anxiety. Currently based in London, Akash has lived across the US, UAE, and India. At 17, he moved to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to study Computer Engineering, interning at Goldman Sachs and Coursera along the way. After graduating, he worked in San Francisco at Blend Labs and Asana. Beyond his full-time roles, he co-founded HeyHaddock.com, an AI travel startup where users created 6,000+ trips, and took it through the Antler startup incubator in Austin, TX. Saul Howard - Saul is a software engineer who worked most recently at Apple’s Cloud Platform division leading a team building the next generation of cloud services. He is a software professional with deep technical experience and a long history of working with startups, from his first job out of high school at a company building navigational systems for racing yachts, to an early engineer position at Hailo, a ridesharing platform which raised $125 million to fund global expansion. Saul is eager to use his experience to help startups and companies undergoing digital transformation build agile, scalable and secure technology.
