  • Join us to discuss an end-of-life care option known as terminal sedation (or ‘palliative sedation’). In essence, it involves administering sedatives in patients who are considered to be dying imminently to relieve symptoms that cannot be controlled in any other way. For purposes of the law, although there is some concern that this treatment is essentially a form of unlawful active euthanasia (in England And Wales), we will be demonstrating that clear distinctions can be made.
