Student Voices, Global Impact: Join us in Championing Human Rights Through Advocacy and Action for a Better World.
About
Grave abuses to the rights of physical and mental integrity are unfolding every day. We strive to be architects of affirmative action. The world needs more engineers of change, we invite you to be one of them.
We aim to bring together students who have a shared concern of fighting against the abuse of human rights and campaigning for justice. We aspire to promote the freedom of conscience and expression, and freedom from discrimination by allowing more people to understand and value human rights, and subsequently build a powerful movement to defend those rights.
In our current political climate, the importance of our identities as socio-political actors in bringing about the equitable change needed to promote all human rights is needed more than ever. Join our society today to be part of one of the largest NGOs in the world.
With our online newsletter, The Aspen Gazette (Amnesty Sentinel for Peace, Equality and News), members are invited to write articles that undertake research and action focused on raising awareness and actioning to combat egregious human rights abuses worldwide.
Along side our newsletter, frequent fundraisers that align with current Amnesty International campaigns strive to get members involved with various charity events in efforts to create a society active in humanitarianism.
