If you have any interest in learning more about our society, this talk is not to be missed! About

Hello! Welcome to the University of Nottingham’s Mooting Society for the 2024/2025 academic year. With 150+ members, a team of talented mooters, and a shared passion to succeed, we are proud to be one of the larger Law societies within our university. Our primary goal is to develop our members’ confidence in their oral and written advocacy, and to familiarise them with the practical elements of the law. We pride ourselves on our inclusivity and encourage students from all courses, as well as all skill levels, to involve themselves in our society. Our plans for the upcoming academic year include delivering a variety of skill-building training workshops, hosting our internal competitive and non-competitive moots, and sending our external team to represent our society externally at competitions. We will be working with a variety of law firms and chambers throughout the year and are hoping to welcome back established legal professionals for the purpose of judging moots and delivering training sessions.
