Area of Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Candidate will be part of the UK Financial Institutions Coverage team and will be closely working mostly with the insurance banker/s

  • Assist in collating the annual client budgets of UK PCO and PAM clients and interacting closely with Senior Bankers
  • Assist in organising quarterly alignment meetings between UK sectors and the relevant Business Lines, to identify and align on client priorities, ensure the development of client action plans, initiatives and new products to meet the clients’ needs
  • Support the Head of UK Coverage in working closely with UK Senior Bankers in organising and preparing the full year and mid-year UK PCO and PAM client sector reviews, highlighting UK Coverage achievements and risks and challenges
  • Assist in maintenance of relevant Client Live inputs (meetings, client contacts) and outputs (NBI, PI, RWA, EVA, Liquidity)
  • Assist the bankers with their KYC duties, including contacting the clients to obtain the required information and maintaining an orderly work flow.

Requirements

Competencies

  • Good understanding of financial engineering principles, including mastery of spreadsheet-based financial analysis
  • Good command of Power Point presentations
  • Basic knowledge of risk analysis methodology in the context of complex structured transactions
  • Understanding of investment banking products (securities, derivatives, ECM, DCM, ITB etc)
  • Good interpersonal skills, team-player and pro-active
  • Ability to work independently

Minimum level of study

  • Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Training / Specialization

  • Graduate
  • Knowledge in the field of business or corporate banking
