What is the duration of the placement?
The placement is for a duration of 12 months, starting on 1st September 2025.

The placement will take place in either Cambridge or Liverpool.
What is the base salary for the position?
The base salary for the position is £26,000, along with a bonus and flexible benefits.
What kind of support is provided to placement students?
Placement students receive support from a dedicated supervisor, a peer network, and access to various Employee Resource Groups.
What areas can students express interest in during their application?
Students can express interest in areas such as Biologics Engineering, Early Respiratory and Immunology, Discovery Sciences, Biopharmaceutical Development, Clinical Pharmacology and Safety Sciences, or Early Oncology.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Applicants must currently be undertaking an undergraduate or integrated master’s degree in a biological discipline, and have the opportunity to spend one year in industry starting September 2025.
Are there any desirable skills for applicants?
Yes, desirable skills include a good foundation in Microsoft Excel, experience in data interpretation, and experience of working in teams.
