Requirements

  • Educational Experience/Requirements:
  • Preferred Major(s): Library Sciences, Pre-Law, Paralegal Studies, Accounting, Business Operations, Computer Science, Planning, Political Science
  • Preferred Level of Education: College first-year and above
  • Required enrollment status: Full-time (as defined by your academic institution) in a degree program at an accredited college or university
  • Physical Requirements:
  • The demands associated with the normal office environment
  • Must be able to comply with office policy to work on-site twice per week
  • Light physical activity, including walking outdoors and climbing stairs
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended time
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good project management skills
  • Experience or willingness to learn SharePoint
  • Understanding of organizational taxonomies

Responsibilities

  • In this role within the Safety department’s Safety Management Systems unit, interns will:
  • Develop a more intuitive and effective structure and taxonomy for document retention.
  • Establish and present a future state site map for each SharePoint site section, obtain approval, complete infrastructure build-out of each section, and populate with required documentation.
  • Promote revitalized section sites and establish processes and procedures for continued maintenance.
