Requirements

  • Educational Experience/Requirements:
  • Preferred Major(s): Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Technology, Architecture
  • Preferred Level of Education: College junior and above
  • Required enrollment status: Full-time (as defined by your academic institution) in a degree program at an accredited college or university
  • Physical Requirements:
  • The demands associated with the normal office environment
  • Must be able to comply with office policy to work on-site twice per week
  • Light physical activity, including walking outdoors and climbing stairs
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including public speaking skills
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good project management, coordination, and time management skills
  • Database use and querying skills
  • Knowledge of building and construction
  • Experience with creativity and design

Responsibilities

  • In this role within the Red Purple Modernization department’s RPM Construction unit, interns will:
  • Develop a dashboard for the RPM Construction team to help manage and better organize the team’s daily check-in calls.
  • Submit construction reviews and analyses to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collect data on construction submittals and find trends and areas for improvement.
