The ideal candidate is a college student studying Civil Engineering, who can work full-time on-site twice a week, possesses strong Microsoft Office and computer skills, has good interpersonal and communication skills, is detail-oriented, and has experience with AutoCAD and FEM analysis software.

As a Yearlong Structural Engineering Intern at the Chicago Transit Authority, the candidate will assist engineers with structural design and drafting, inspect existing structures and construction, and ensure projects are within budget and scheduled within the Infrastructure department's Structural unit.
