Requirements

  • Familiarity with Linux operating environments (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of hypervisors.
  • Comfort at the command line on Linux systems
  • Ability to write scripts (python, shell) to automate tasks
  • High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong interest in taking ownership of his/her work
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • A detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • The Infrastructure Engineer will work on tasks such as configuring servers using tools such as Ansible and Kickstart, provisioning storage for users(file, object or block), writing scripts (python or shell) to automate tasks, troubleshooting any outages or performance related issues for both the compute and storage environments. The ideal candidate has experience working from the command line, writing shell and python scripts, and enjoys troubleshooting and finding creative solutions to complex problems.
