Requirements

  • You need to be in the penultimate or final year of your degree, or recently graduated but no more than 6 months from the start date of the internship. In addition, you need to have or be on track for a 2:1 (UK grading system) or the equivalent in your first undergraduate degree.
  • It doesn’t matter what you’re studying. (Really, it doesn’t.) But we’d like to see evidence that you can:

  • come up with ideas

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for someone to be part of a business that provides integrated advisory and fundraising solutions across the different verticals of our Private Funds Group (“PFG”): Primary Fundraising, Liquidity / Strategic Solutions and Real Estate Advice / Fundraising Solutions
  • In this role you will be involved in the origination and execution of our mandates and also provide distribution and general marketing support across the verticals
  • Primary Fundraising: working closely with our GP clients throughout a fundraise process from preparation through to final closing
  • Liquidity / Strategic Solutions: be involved in restructuring funds and assisting institutional investors seeking to liquidate or monetise their holdings
  • Real Estate: gain insight into fundraising, advisory, restructuring and recapitalisation assignments across a broad range of real estate market sub-segments
  • Support the team’s origination efforts across the verticals, contributing to pitch presentations and gaining an understanding of market trends and participants
  • You will get the chance to work on several projects concurrently across the different verticals with exposure to our global Advisory and Distribution teams as well as establishing working relationships with teams across the wider Global Banking business
