Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
Pursuing an MBA or Master’s degree (Class of 2025) with an excellent academic record and a demonstrated interest in finance through previous internships, jobs, and coursework
A critical thinker with strong quantitative and analytical skills who expresses their thoughts and ideas clearly both in oral and written communications
A collaborative thinker who can also work independently, multitask, and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A proactive and organized self-starter with a positive attitude, powerful work ethic, and strong attention to detail
Demonstrated strong work ethic, initiative and deep desire to learn and strengthen individual abilities
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) is required
Understanding of finance (P&L/NAV/etc.)
Computer science/coding skills and/or experience with no/low-code tooling a bonus
Product knowledge exposure to private and public assets a bonus
Bank Debt and respective facility types; term loans, revolvers, delayed draws, etc.
Commercial Real Estate loans
Public Funds
Corporate Bonds
Credit Default Swaps
Corporate Actions– Mandatory and Voluntary
Foreign Exchange (FX)
Equity/Options (listed and otc)
Financing Instruments (REPOs, Bond Forward etc.)
Experience with VPM, Everest, Thinkfolio, IMActions a bonus

Responsibilities

You’ll also:
Complete ownership and accountability of processes assigned. This includes data maintenance and timeliness of activity processing with adherence and evidencing of controls
An understanding on the synchronization and workflow of the different applications used with the Operations group on a day to day
Partnering and collaborating with various internal teams at Apollo at all management levels
Updating process documentation and able to evidence controls and calculations.
Responding to queries and building relationships, working with external parties to resolve anything pending
Work to improve end to end operational support including enhancement of processes & learning tools
Responsible for ad-hoc requests
