Requirements

  • An ideal candidate profile is as follows:
  • Good grasp of business strategy: comfortable selecting, tailoring and applying suitable business frameworks to address strategic challenges.
  • Advanced analytical, interviewing, listening, and rapport-building skills.
  • Intellectual horsepower to quickly come up to speed and ask relevant questions on unfamiliar areas while being humble and low ego
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and get things done with limited oversight
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills and poise and professionalism geared towards an executive audience
  • Education:
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time MBA Program (or in a related graduate program such as Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation/Urban Planning.)

Responsibilities

  • This is a high-visibility and high-impact internship: output from this internship will culminate in presentations to PACCAR senior leadership and be used to inform future product and business decisions.
  • In this role, you’ll work closely with the Innovation Center's Managing Director of Innovation Business Development on key strategic questions of high importance to PACCAR’s future.
  • You will:
  • Structure and right-size ambiguous business problems of high importance to PACCAR’s future
  • Develop and implement, as applicable, action plans to solve these high-visibility problems using both quantitative and qualitative analyses, stakeholder interviews and cross-functional collaboration
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to the PACCAR senior leadership
