Description

  • This role starts in late June 2024, and is based in London in the DM Services team within our Consult engine.  
  • Our development management experts work with clients and partners to deliver exemplar schemes, transforming communities and delivering significant returns for our investment partners. Our team has the skills, experience and networks to ensure the developments we work on are world class. Mace's development team works across a range of sectors, from mixed-use developments to student accommodation, commercial developments to Private Rented Sector (PRS).  
  • In our Consult engine, you’ll be part of a global think tank where innovation and sustainability take the lead. We collaborate closely with clients to understand their individual challenges, lending new ideas and fresh thinking to make strategic decisions and shape project directions. We will follow our clients where they work, often sharing their locations. Whilst we visit projects and sites, Consult is more about delivery of creative solutions than hardhats. Responsibilities

  • Assists with market research to support new growth development opportunities.
  • Assists in the preparation of financial and development appraisals and cashflow modelling.
  • Works with development agreements, assisting sourcing competitive funding for schemes.
  • Assists with due diligence on new purchases.
  • Supports the management and development of budgets, cost plans and financial models.
  • Supports the management, development and project management processes to both time and budget.
  • Collaborates with internal and external Project Management teams through design, planning, procurement and cost management, construction, operations and disposal.
  • Supports the management of pre-let and leasing activity.
  • Contributes to the management of disposal strategies.
  • Collaborates with coordinating activities, providing operational delivery of development management.
  • Supports and maintains effective internal and external stakeholder and client relationships and/or account management.
  • Supports the promotion of quality standards of health, safety and welfare across the team.
  • Develops working relationships with (range of) internal stakeholders.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
