What will I be doing as a Mechanical Engineering intern at Trane Technologies?
As a Mechanical Engineering intern at Trane Technologies, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging assignments in areas such as Product Development, Failure Analysis, Value Engineering, Design, and Verification Testing. You will also have exposure to senior leaders in the company and networking opportunities.
What are the qualifications for this internship?
To qualify for this internship, you must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. You should have at least one internship or work experience, demonstrated leadership skills, and be willing to relocate anywhere in the United States. Additionally, you must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
Is this internship a remote or on-site position?
This internship has been designated as on-site. Positions are available at many of our facilities across North America.
Will there be opportunities for full-time employment after the internship?
Yes, through our student programs, participants will have an opportunity to interview for our full-time, post-graduate Accelerated Development Program for Engineering or direct hire opportunities.
How long is the internship program?
The internship program is a 12-week summer internship opportunity for current college students working towards their Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
