What is the location of the Internship program?
The Internship program will take place at BASF’s Geismar site located at 37269 Highway 30, Geismar LA, 70734.
What are the requirements to apply for the internship?
Applicants must be current students in their last semester or recent graduates with a degree in Industrial Instrumentation Technology or Instrument & Control Systems Technology, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and be authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
How long does the internship last?
The internship will last for 3-4 months and interns will have the opportunity to work a 4/10 schedule.
Can interns be considered for full-time positions after completing the internship?
Yes, interns who complete BASF’s Instrumentation Internship Program may be considered for upcoming open full-time positions at the site.
What type of work experience will interns gain during the internship?
Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience by participating in various Instrument Technician activities, allowing them to further develop both technical and professional skills.
What is the minimum GPA requirement for applicants?
The minimum GPA requirement for applicants is 3.0.
