What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is ten weeks long, running from Monday, June 23, 2025, to Friday, August 29, 2025.
Who is eligible to apply for this internship?
You must be currently enrolled in university (undergraduate or postgraduate) and completing all studies between December 2025 and September 2026.
Are there specific language requirements for the internship?
Yes, you must be fluent in both French and English, both written and verbal.
What kind of training will interns receive?
Interns will start with a week of classroom-based financial product and functionality training to broaden their knowledge of global financial markets and Bloomberg solutions.
Will interns have the opportunity to interact with clients?
Yes, interns will interact with clients and participate in sales campaigns, promoting product features and prospecting for new business.
Is prior experience in client relationship management required?
No, previous experience in client relationship management is preferred but not a prerequisite to apply.
What skills are important for this internship?
Important skills include strong multitasking abilities, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication skills. An ambition for a client-facing career is also essential.
Is there an opportunity to work on projects during the internship?
Yes, interns will participate in hands-on individual and group projects that will allow them to experience how their full-time career could evolve.
Will there be networking opportunities during the internship?
Yes, interns will have plenty of opportunities to meet Bloomberg leaders at networking events, as well as participate in lunch and learn sessions.
Is there a requirement for prior knowledge of Python or Excel?
While demonstrated interest in or exposure to the practical application of Python is appreciated, it is not a prerequisite to apply. Beginner to intermediate experience with Excel and/or VBA is also preferred but not required.
