Requirements

Undergraduate – Finishing Sophomore Year / Rising Junior (Class of 2026)
Finance or Accounting major (preferred)
Intellectual curiosity with an interest in finance and shareholder activism
Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
Be ambitious, self-directed, creative and resourceful

Responsibilities

As part of the Program, Summer Analysts will provide value-add analysis and research as part of the Strategic, Defense & Shareholder Advisory team within the Advisory business. In this role, the Analyst will create materials regarding hostile activity, shareholder activism, shareholder engagement and ESG for use in client presentations, internal meetings, and marketing initiatives. The Analyst will work on live activism and raid defense situations, contested M&A and special committee assignments, as well as perform analysis on identifying companies’ potential vulnerabilities to activist shareholders or potential acquirers. The Analyst will work alongside M&A coverage groups and gain exposure to a diverse range of experiences across multiple industries.
