What are the summer internship dates?
The summer internship will take place from June 2, 2025, to mid-August, with some flexibility to start earlier depending on your school schedule.
What types of students are eligible to apply for this internship?
Undergraduate or graduate students in architecture, planning, engineering, sustainability, landscape architecture, construction administration, or other related programs with a resilience and/or sustainability focus are eligible to apply.
Is this internship paid?
Yes, this internship is a paid position with a salary of $21.00 per hour.
What will be the main responsibilities of the intern?
The intern will work with HGA’s Director of Sustainability to create a climate change adaptation toolkit, gather climate projection data, update the Resilient Design Guide, create templates for workshops, and support design teams with climate risk assessments.
What skills are required for the internship?
Required skills include familiarity with climate change projection data, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite, knowledge of online whiteboard tools, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Can I submit group projects in my application work sample?
Yes, you can submit group projects in your work sample, but you should indicate your specific role in those projects.
