Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating with a bachelor’s degree between December 2025 and May 2026, have a GPA of 3.0 or greater, and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
What areas of study are preferred for applicants?
Preferred areas of study include Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, and Data Science.
What technologies should applicants be familiar with?
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Java, Springboot, and SQL.
Will I receive mentorship during the internship?
Yes, interns will be assigned a formal mentor and will have opportunities to interact with senior executives.
Are there opportunities for professional development during the internship?
Yes, the internship includes professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and a variety of activities throughout the program.
What will my responsibilities be as an intern?
Internship responsibilities may include learning the Software Development Lifecycle, implementing minor changes to existing software, installing and testing subcomponents, shadowing production support team members, and learning to monitor the health of various environments.
Can I work remotely during the internship?
Yes, the internship supports a hybrid work model, which includes a combination of in-office and remote workdays.
Is there a GPA requirement for this internship?
Yes, applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in their current program.
Will I need to travel as part of my internship?
Yes, interns must have the ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program.
